You have registered for the master's program Management of Technology (MOT)! You may still have doubts about whether you are going to follow this program or what studying at TU Delft actually entails. To help you make this choice, three international students have gathered all the information they need to help you!
Meet the team
I am a current international MOT student, Ishaan Dwivedi and like you, I had some doubts before deciding to study here, so I decided to write this issue from my own experiences to orient newcomers. This issue covers the uniqueness of the master programme, reputation of TU Delft, teaching style, opinions of a famous professor, and an MoT alumni, campus facilities and activities, budget, lifestyle in Delft, transportation and connectivity of the city, and things you should consider after deciding to study here. |

Dear prospective MOT students,
We are delighted to see your interest in our unique master’s program in Management of Technology (MOT). As the Programme Director and the Programme Manager, it is our pleasure to welcome you to a program where passion for engineering meets business management. The MOT program is meticulously designed for engineers in the early stages of their careers, aiming to provide deep insights into technology and innovation management.
This program is an ideal fit if you are deeply rooted in technology and deeply interested in business and management. We aim to develop your innovation and leadership skills in a tech-driven business environment.

Every new student is interested to know how student life is at Delft! So, in this section we provided short interviews with a first year student and a second year student to give you insights about what you can expect at the beginning of your journey at MOT and what there is to know about your second year as a student here at Delft.
Isa: "I love the people and the active lifestyle here. There is a relaxed culture which makes you focus on yourself. Besides, believe it or not, being able to cycle everywhere is an amazing privilege."

| Some courses in MOT are also assisted by teaching assistants that will help you if you have difficulties or inquiries related to a specific course. In this edition, we will introduce you to one teaching assistant who has assisted in the Emerging and Breakthrough Technologies 2023/2024 course. |

| After deciding |
Some steps you need to take after choosing to study at TU Delft
Funding: The primary way of funding your master's degree here at TU Delft is self-funding. The deadline for requesting a scholarship of TU Delft was December 2024, so this is not an option anymore.
Housing: Make sure to opt in for the housing portal, if you want to look for accommodation through the university.
Visa: Your visa will be processed through Osiris in the subsequent steps. More information about this can be found here.
